Instant Replay is a new app in development for the App Store, built for musicians who want fast, honest feedback while they practice.

The idea is simple: record a passage, stop, and hear it back right away. Instead of breaking concentration by digging through menus or setting up a longer workflow, the app keeps the process quick enough to stay useful in the middle of real practice.

That makes it especially helpful for scales, intonation checks, phrasing, short excerpts, vocal lines, and any moment where you want to compare what something felt like to what it actually sounded like.

What it does

  • Starts playback immediately after recording ends, so review feels almost instant.
  • Supports Bluetooth foot pedals for hands-free control during practice.
  • Includes pedal calibration so different keyboard-mode pedals can be mapped quickly.
  • Shows a live waveform while recording and playback progress while listening back.
  • Records high-quality audio at 44.1 kHz AAC.
  • Stays focused, with no accounts, subscriptions, or ads.

Instant Replay is intended for violinists, instrumentalists, vocalists, and other musicians who want a simple way to hear themselves clearly and make adjustments in the moment.

For App Store compliance, the Instant Replay Privacy Policy is posted here on the site.
